THE COMPANY
Nirjeet Entertainments is a film production house headquartered in Jaipur. We are a group of talented and aspiring artists working to create stories that can change lives. We are working towards changing the dynamics of art and filmmaking by making it more
inclusive for young Filmmakers and artists. We aim to make and produce quality films and to filmmaking in Jaipur and Rajasthan by creating more opportunities in this field.
Our idea is to ensure that there should be a filmmaker and storyteller in every house. Our larger goal is to make Jaipur a film hub and set up the filmmaking industry in Rajasthan. We also aim to promote the young talent of Jaipur by providing them the platform and opportunities in filmmaking, providing them holistic training in acting and filmmaking, and supporting them in their journey.
We intend to support other artists of Rajasthan by creating a community for them. Our idea is to promote the culture of Jaipur and Rajasthan through filmmaking and take our content to the global level. We want
We are a team of professionals and film enthusiasts with an extensive background in Filmmaking and Acting and 15+ years of experience in Performing Arts.
We are mainly into film production and so far we have made 15+ films. A couple of films and songs are in the production stage. We run a talk show ‘Main Hoon’ which is releasing this year. We also make promotional and commercial ads for brands and so far we have made around 400 ads.
Our major projects include – ‘Khamma Ghani Jaipur Film Festival’ which is an international film festival, ‘Friday Cineरात्रि’ a weekend film screening event and ‘Action Reaction, which is a camera acting course.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2022 by Naveen Sharma and Maulshree, Nirjeet Entertainments is a film production company working towards changing the dynamics of art and filmmaking by making it more inclusive for young filmmakers and artists.
Our founders are passionate actors and filmmakers with extensive training and backgrounds in camera acting, theatre, dance, music, direction, and writing along with various other creative and managerial skills. They have received their training from renowned institutions in the country. With regards to acting, Maulshree has pursued her degree in Performing Arts with a Theatre specialization from Christ University, Bengaluru, and has done a short young filmmakers’ course from Ekta Kapoor’s ICE Institute, Mumbai. Naveen has pursued his acting training at Actors’ Prepare Mumbai and online certificate course in film-making from FTII.
Despite getting training in the giant cities where media and entertainment are on the rise, they decided to make their hometown Jaipur a ground for carrying out their passion project in film-making- this journey has been more like searching for water in the desert.
Our founders realized the need to produce quality films and promote film-making in Jaipur and Rajasthan by creating more opportunities in this field. Hence, they set off on their journey of creating magic with films.
So far, under the production house, we have made 15+ independent films. Our upcoming projects include feature films, music videos, and podcast shows which are currently in the pre-production and post-production stages. Apart from this, we have made around 400 promotional ads for several local, national, and international brands. We are associated with 20+ organizations including brands, corporate biggies, academic institutions, and NGOs.
In the year 2023, we launched a one-of-a-kind film festival- Khamma Ghani Jaipur Film Festival, an international short film festival where we screened 45 short films including national and international films under student, in-house, and professional categories. The first season of this festival marked the beginning of the journey of celebrating the magic of films and filmmaking. This festival is also an initiative towards creating a community for filmmakers, film enthusiasts, artists, and art lovers where we can support each other’s endeavours. The upcoming season is scheduled for November 2024.
In 2023, we also launched another initiative- Friday Cine रात्रि- a weekend film screening event in Jaipur. We have started this event with the intent of promoting filmmaking and initiating conversations about films and filmmaking. Every Friday, we screen short films which is followed by a talk with the team about that particular film and the process of creating it. This gives the audience a chance to know about how films are made.
This year we are launching our podcast- ‘Main Hoon’, a talk show where we share the success stories and the journey of self-growth of those young people from Jaipur, who have made significant achievements in their respective fields.
We will continuously strive to create magic through films and stories and bring in innovative events and programs for promoting filmmaking and performing arts.
OUR FOUNDERS
Naveen Sharma
Naveen Sharma is an Indian actor and filmmaker from Jaipur with around 12 years of experience in the industry. He has diverse experience in acting, writing, and direction. He is the founder of Nirjeet Entertainments, Jaipur. He is currently making films, and advertisements, and leading filmmaking, acting, and performing arts programs.
He is an alumnus of Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares, Mumbai. He is currently producing and directing films, short films, advertisements, promotional videos, and web shows. He is an actor who has worked in a couple of films and shows. He is also training individuals in the fields of acting and filmmaking. He manages direction, cinematography, editing, and creative direction. He has directed more than 15 films and around 250+ advertisements and videos.
He is also a professional theatre artist who has performed more than 50 stage plays across India. He has also performed around 600 plays as a part of the safety campaign in Barmer organized by Cairn India for which he was awarded with ‘unsung heroes’ award in 2016.
He has 13 years of experience in facilitating acting, dance, and theatre programs.
He has done B.Sc. In interiors from INIFD, Jaipur, and B.Com from the University of Rajasthan.
He is a trained dancer and choreographer. He has also worked as a dance choreographer at Actor Prepares, Mumbai, and Buskers Dance Institute, Jaipur. He designs and directs dance choreography for corporate shows.
His vision is to create a filmmaker in every home and to create a platform where young and budding filmmakers can showcase their virtuosos.
He has been a prominent actor in Jaipur Theatre, famously known for his character of ‘Karn’.
Maulshree
She is a filmmaker, actor, singer, and writer with more than 15 years of experience in acting, theatre, music, and writing. She is the co-founder of Nirjeet Entertainments, Jaipur. She is currently making films, and leading filmmaking, acting, and performing arts programs.
She has worked in more than 250+ ads and 15 short films, mini-series, and videos as a writer, creative director, director, assistant director, actor, singer, composer, production head, and creative designer. She has been successfully managing on-screen and off-screen production. She has acted in short films, ads, web shows, and song videos. She has done ‘the Young Filmmakers’ courses from Ekta Kapoor’s ICE Institute, Mumbai.
She holds the degree of MSc. HRDM Psychology and B.A. in Performing Arts (Theatre), English Literature and Psychology from Christ (deemed to be university), Bangalore. She is a theatre artist with experience in acting, directing, writing, stage management, music, and designing theatre productions. She has performed in more than 20 plays including award-winning performances across India. She holds 9 years of experience in managing and leading national-level theatre festivals in Bangalore and Jaipur. She also holds 7 years of experience in facilitating theatre and acting workshops for kids, college students, MBA students, teaching, and corporate professionals. She even facilitates workshops on podcasts, filmmaking, and writing.
She has done ‘Visharad’ (B.A. equivalent) in Hindustani classical music (vocal) & Bhav Sangeet from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. She is also a composer, lyricist, and singer.
She is a fluent writer with 13 years of experience in creative writing and 8 years of experience in digital content writing.
She is a podcaster and hosts a talk show ‘Main Hoon’ and a poetry podcast ‘Maul of Words’.
She was selected for the Indian Army with All India rank 3rd and joined the officers’ training academy, Chennai in 2020 as an officer cadet. But, she discontinued her training to follow her passion in the creative field.
She also holds 2 years of corporate experience as a talent acquisition specialist (human resources).
She is an ex-NCC cadet and she participated in Republic Day Camp 2012 and represented India in Bhutan as a part of the youth exchange program in 2012.
